I 'think' this is my 100th post! I wanted to tell you all about my Simmy and Nunny.
Both of them are short hair'd tabbies. And they're both orange.
Nunny is my first born, lol. He's four years old and Simmy is three.
Nunny is a little skittish and sensitive whereas Simmy is laid back and easy going.
Nunny likes: To have his shoulder blades patted, TUNA, which is bad for him, to be petted when he wants it, to sing all the time, he meows in double syllables, Loves running water as opposed to stagnate. Nunny has to have things 'just so' in order for him to do something. If I want him to come up on the bed, I have to remove the blanket for him. When he gets his treats, he sometimes wants them in different spots, and if i don't have it in the right spot, he'll turn his nose up, lol. I'll then put the treat in the right spot and he'll eat it.
Nunny is beautifully marked, has a big bullseye on his side, white patches on his neck and paws and on the right side of his face. He's BIG, about 13 pounds, very big bright eyes and adorable pink nose. Has a tail that is the envy of cats everywhere. Very long, lol. I paid 35 dollars for Nunny at Jack's Pet store, lol! I am always amused to think I paid money for my boy, lol. Nunny's real name is Noel because I got him in November close to Christmas. He doesn't answer to that name though, he doesn't even know it's his name. He is my sweet baby.
Simmy was found off the streets in some neighborhood. Some kids were holding him, and I asked if I could hold him. He snuggled up on my chest and we just drove off with him! The kids said he and the other kittens were neglected. We didn't investigate, we just drove off! It was meant to be, you couldn't have pried him out of my hands. John and I both had no idea we'd be getting another cat, but it was love at first site!
Simmy is so chill and easy going. He and Nunny are nothing alike. They are a good balance to each other. Simmy is more of a strawberry blonde because he lays in the sun all the time. Simmy's real name is Simba. Simba likes: Earplugs!!! He ADORES them!
Simmy is a shoulder cat. He loves to be bit...I bite him daily, lol. Both the boys are rough and tough and like to be patted like a dog! LOL! I have only heard of one other person who BITES their cats, but I swear they love it! LOL! When I bite Simmy's scruff, lol his eye lids lower like he's feeling relaxed, lol. lmao, I used to bite him with my lips cupping my teeth, but now I full on bite, lol! I'm sure you all think I'm nuts, lol...
Simmy is the alpha of the house. He LOVES to fetch, and generally enjoys life to the fullest.
Nunny is a bit reserved and while I think he enjoys life, he doesn't seem to have the same interests as Simmy. Especially after Simmy came. Nunny and I used to be so close til Simmy came. Now, when I try to initiate a game with Nunny, Simmy immediately steps in and takes over. Nunny gets discouraged and walks away.
Poor Nunny,
I hope he's happy and doesn't feel resentment because of Simmy. Nunny had a year of just him and his Mom and I was his world and we were so close. He and Simmy play a lot, and sit and lay together, so I know they like each other. I just hope Nunny is happy. He doesn't play like he used to.
Anyway, there's my book.
I wonder what our cats would think if they understood how much we love them that we're on a forum about them, with their pics as brag books and all, lol. I hope in heaven when we all pass on, we will be able to TALK to them! Wouldn't that be so wonderful??!! LOL
