I am *AT* work, but I don't want to work. Too many things on my mind and I just can't concentrate.

Good thing I have an office and can shut my door - presumbably to work on "private" things.

I'm having the same problem. I have plenty to do, just can't get motivated.
Just means I'll be getting stressed out toward the end of the week trying to get everything done. Thanks goodness there's TCS to keep me occupied in the meantime!

Well Trace, at least you have an office to yourself where you can shut the door. I absolutely HATE being here, but I owe, I owe, so off to work I go!

You ready for lunch on Sunday?

I don't want to work today either. It's my first day back from vacation, and I'm having a tough time getting back into it. Suppose I ought to get something done, though.

lol Is it worse to be at work with too much to do, or to be at work with nothing to do? I'm waiting on a CD so I can do my data entry, but it hasn't come in yet, so I've been sitting here bored for three days now!

Well, I have more *physical* work (the kind I like) to do at home... way, way, way more. And here I sit on my duff & *brain* work in front of a laptop.

Would rather be pulling weeds, gettin dirty in the garden, or painting something!!! It's so nice outside! But I just spent a WHOLE weekend outside!

Cannot get motivated, either. Hrm. Must have been the long weekend or something. I have my own office but I'll be danged if I could ever THINK about shutting my door.

What I love, hands down, is being at work (with all the stress there is to get work done) with some excuse not to do any so you can stand around socializing without fear of irritating anyone. For instance, system goes down, power goes out...

Ack! Don't wish that, I am an IT geek - when the power goes out or the systems go down - I panic!

of course im a wise person

no seriously though, in total of my life i have only worked properly for not even 3 months, and i have decided that my bf has to earn LOTS of money so i can be a house wife
so i can have kids, and take part in school activities, learn hairdressing and manicuring, helping out at the cat shelter, or even owning some land so i can have my own cat shelter so im not bored

I also realised this that when i want to do my "homework" is always on the school holidays and never "when its school time"

But you know i feel bored because lately all i do is house work, cook and tcs
