Please send some prayers and good vibes this way for another one of our kitties in foster care. Lily is beautiful solid black kitty probably around a year old. I've posted about her before. Although Lily is very sweet and friendly, our rescue group coordinator is considering returning her to the site where she rescued once she is spayed, rather than putting too much effort into finding her a home. She feels it might be too difficult to try to place Lily because of her tendency to try to sneak outside and because she agressive when it comes to food. She's also unpredictable when it comes to getting along with other cats and can be very demanding. There is a feeder at the site who cares for some feral cats and it is relatively safe, but I really think Lily would do fine in the right home - as an indoor/outdoor and, possibly only, cat. As an abandoned pet who's already had two litters of kittens, Lily deserves a chance a real home.
Thanks.

Lily is in my prayers. She really does deserve to be in a loving household.

The decision had been made. Lily was spayed last Sat. and will be returned to her site this weekend. I still think she'd do fine in the right home, but it hasn't come along. Our coordinator keeps reminding me we're not a shelter and can't hold onto the adult cats permanently. We still have many kittens to place. Please just pray that Lily is safe and happy at the site.

At least she is spayed, and her babies got placed. It is sad that she didn't get a good home, but groups that keep hanging onto cats can fill up real quick.

Good luck, Lily. May God watch over you and keep you safe.

Such a shame that they decided to return her, but at least she is now spayed so will be healthier.

She captured my heart too - as all black cats do! She is one of the most striking black cats I've ever seen, sleek, shiny and huge golden eyes. She's very smart and mischieveous and, while not a lap cat, can be very sweet and affectionate.

I cried when I said goodbye to her on Fri. She was released back at the site on Sat. and, according to our rescue group coordinator, seemed glad to be home. She'll be fed and cared for there and we'll follow her progress. I wish we could have found her a real home. Please send good vibes her way now and then.

Of her three kittens (two female, one male) one of the little girls was adopted a couple of weeks ago. The other two are still available. They are adorable little Lily look-a-likes and are extremely playful! So, if anyone out there is looking for a black cat (or two) that will be full of purrsonality, let me know!
