Okay .. I just went to tell my LILO and the 6 kittens goodnight and I noticed that the grey and white kitten (the one who has done every thing the fastest) had yellow stuff all over her. And then I realized it was poo. And the others had a little on them as well. I guess they rolled in it.

Well when LILO noticed it she ran to them and started licking all of them and then they all (except the grey and white) pooped and she ate it. I know this is what she should do but my question is why did the grey and white one do it by herself? They turned 2 weeks old yesturday. Is she ready for a litterbox?

Next question... why was it yellow like? Is that a normal color? I figured it was from the milk from LILO that makes it that color.

Someone please let me know what to do. This is my first litter of kittens and while I have researched it online... I have realized some things happen that "they" just dont mention...

Someone can probably explain to you why it is a yellowy colour, I'm not too sure about that, but yes they can start going toilet themselves at two weeks so a litter box is needed.

Sometimes if they over feed they just spontaneously poop. You usually start them on the litter pan the same time you introduce them to soft food- which is at 4-5 weeks- (usually). Otherwise you run the risk of the kittens eating the litter- so you don't use clumping litter as the first type of litter. Also yellow stool is completely normal.

Please don't get impatient if your posts aren't answered right away. Give it time unless it is a real emergency then call you vet for the answer you are looking for.

Thank you for your help. It has answered my questions and now I can go to bed knowing that my kitten is ok.

I didn't get impatient. And if it seemed that way ... sorry.
I have worked all day and am ready to go to sleep. I just needed an answer before I could sleep.
And I know that if it is a real emergency to call my vet. I am not that tired!!

Didnt you just get medicine from the vet for your kitten, because she was a
wet all over her legs and stuff? The other post said that the medicine you are giving her will give her diarhea. That is most likely why your grey kitty is pooping like that!
