Well, it's been a great weekend, spent at my sister's and brother's-in-law house which is always great. We chill (sot to speak
) in the spa. This trip had an ulterior motive. On the way back we had a couple of Hitchhikers ("Do you know where your towel is?")

NARSIL AND MITHRIL ARE HOME! Presenting: Congocoons Narsil of RoseHawke (brown classic tabby male) and Congocoons Mithril of RoseHawke (Silver, we think. He may turn out to be a smoke, classic tabby male. Both by CH Congocoons King Cobra and out of Backwoods Allusion of Congocoons.)

We're already having a good time
!

What fancy names! Are they Maine Coons? They are so fluffy! I just love a silver tabby. That was my first cat as a child, and everyone is measured by her.

Yup. Maine Coons
. I posted that then went to bed last night. They're having a ball! They've discovered they can run straight down the hall like a runway and use the hall-runner for a launching pad, and they're enjoying the magazine basket here in the computer room (not allowed in here unless we're in here 'cause of the wires) as the magazines are slippery too and you can leap! and slither all over the place. Sunny says one of them (Narsil) rode the stack down like Legolas on the shield at the battle of Helm's Deep.

Yup. LOTR fans here
, but I wanted something a little more unusual than the character names as there are just waaaaay too many Legolases runnng around LOL! Originally I wanted to name them Narsil and Andúril as two forms of the same thing, but Sunny didn't care for Andúril as we'd probably be calling him Andy and run into the same problem we had with Andrea of not knowing if you were talking about the cat or his sister of the same name (which is why we changed her call name from Andie to Annie.) There's still a lot of Mithrils as you can plug in an image search for "Mithril" and pull up any number of gray or blue cats, dogs and horses (I even think there was a goat ?!?!!) but not quite as many.

They were such good kitties on the ride home yesterday, they just curled up in the crate and went to sleep for the two+ hour drive. I swear it's like having kids, though. We'll be sitting here surfing or playing (DH has most of the week off) on the computers and then it's like "Hmmmm. It's too quiet," and one or both of us goes to check on them.

Yah, Katie, I know how counting the days goes! I'll have to count to make sure, but I believe tomorrow, the 31st will be their 12 week birthday. That was the looooongest darn 12 weeks!

LOL....I like how you came up with the names
we went with Aragorn on one of Dutchys cause hes black and white, but not traditononal Tuxedo..and yet he is..so you have to feel the Aragorn i fit but i dont vibe, lol..And one of the babies, was Haldir..cause next to Legolas he is my favourite elf. and I got so mad when they killed him in the second movie..cause..THEY WERENT EVEN THERE...ok...*calms* but...He turned out to be a she, oppsy so we call her Halle
so I can call another one Haldir some day WAHOO, lol.
