Question about birthday in profile

I have a question about setting the birthday in the profile. In the directions and also in the FAQs it says if you set your birthday..... then it will be displayed in the calendar. How about if I don't want my birthday displayed? I tried setting the month and date to blank in my profile, but the input was rejected. Do I have the option to not display my birthday?

hi Tim, its me again! You have to set the month and day, but can leave the year blank.

So, if I understand you right, then I can't have my birthday left off the calendar. Is that correct?

Couple other questions:

1 - I see you're a "Mentor". Is that the same as a moderator?

2 - in your post in my hello thread, your signature contained a pic of your cats, a graphic of your name, and a "Mentors Rock" graphic. But in your post in this thread, they're NOT displayed. I'm curious as to why.

Lol, sometime today, Deb25 will be thru and see this post, and she can answer definintely about the calender, she may have the ability to change it. Now, for the rest...

1. Nope, I get to welcome newbies, help them along in any way that I can and such, but don't have any of the moderating abilities, ie....moving posts and such.

2. That means I screwed up.....if you notice when you have a reply box open, under the additional options are some boxes to check and uncheck...and I succeeded in unchecking the one that says "show your signature"....going to go back and edit my post now so that it does, lol!

We have our administrative panel set so that members must input birthday information, so therefore it is displayed on the calendar. It is not displayed at the bottom of the main forum page unless you have posted within 60 days of your birthday. However, since the displayed birthday thing is obviously a concern for you, I have eliminated the data on your profile.
