Help - through no fault of her own my best friend's daughter has to move home with her 2 children, to live with her parents again for an indefinite time. As her father HATES cats I've 'volunteered' to mind her young kitty for the interim.

I need suggestions in how to introduce the youngster to my old two, who still seem upset about Tiger's death in April this year. They are being intolerant of each other sometimes and best buddies the rest of the time.

What is the best way for me to introduce the newcomer?- who will have to be an indoor cat as he is white and I'm not sure he has perfect hearing. My two are freely able to come and go as they like - they stay in overnight though. I just don't want to have to spend the nights separating fighting cats - not to mention the vet bills that would result.(

i would suggest to do the "introduction" between the cats, but once your friend moves out will she have the kitty back?
How long is she staying at her parents for?
if white kitty stays at your place for too long, then when it leaves the other cats will be sad again.. (thats if ofcourse they get along great)
