I woke up at 4am this morning (to use the loo...hehe
) So I decided to let Guinness out as it was a nice morning. Then, when I woke up again at 9am I realised that he hadn't come back in as his food was still there.....

I went shopping for a bit and I just got back and still no sign of him so I went in the garden and there on the floor was his collar - without the magnet for his cat flap!
So I start getting panicky, "where's Guin, is he lost?"

A couple of seconds later he appears looking all smug cos he has not got his collar on and now, I can't catch the little muppet to put the replacement collar back on him! Hmmmm... I have left some water in the garden for him cos I am due to go out again soon and he won't be able to let himself in!
Kids!

Maybe I am just imagining it, but I swear that Guinness is now taking "run ups" to break down the back door! I just looked out the bedroom window to see what the noise was then when I went down the open the door, he just ran off into the wilderness

Little devil!

I've wondered about the doors with the magnetic catch, but between your experience and the fact that nobody except our three ever comes in the cat door, I'll stick with what we've got.

Hope you round him up soon.

Ok... an update on this

Guin lost his collar and door key on Friday so I gave him the spare collar and key.... This morning he came in from his early morning wander (I had the back door open cos I was painting the skirting boards
) and as I was stroking him I thought, "gah... somethings missing!" Little muppet has only lost the spare key and collar!!

I had to make a mad dash into the next down to buy some replacements - £8.50 for two plus £3.00 for a collar .... !!! As I speak I can see him sitting on top of the shed with his new collar on - he had better not lose this one!

Yes... the new collar I gave him has a snap on that's hard to open and close so I am hoping that this one lasts longer!

I found the first collar (on Friday) but could not find the magnet
The second collar and magnet is knowhere to be seen. I have even looked in both neighbours gardens too. I am sure one day when I am pottering about they might appear!
