Going to my sister's and BIL's in Chattanooga this weekend
, coming back Sunday by Stevenson, AL to pick up our new boys. I think I'll see if I can't convince Sunny (DH) that we need to either barbeque something Monday, or go buy some barbeque. BBQ sure does sound good right now. He's going to be off most of next week and we were going to clean and stain the deck next week, but while I think we can get the deck cleaned, it looks like the weather isn't going to cooperate for staining it as we need at least 3-5 rain-free days and it doesn't look like we're going to get that.

I have the veggie garden to plant; we want to seed an area in were we had the tree stumps removed. Finish washing windows and install screen. I have like 6 flats of annuals to plant up in containers and around the house. A high school graduation party on Sunday afternoon. Probably more stuff I can't think of!!

Well, we had our long weekend last weekend, but with less pressure over summer, our office is working on a little self-care and adding a day to the weekend whenever possible. If I can get enough stuff off my plate today to leave the rest until Monday, I'll be goofing off tomorrow.
Probably better get at it, hadn't I?

Yup, Monday off here too.
Good thing, too, because I have to get up early dawn 30 Saturday and Sunday. Saturday is our first official Team Practice, and the part when I actually get to shoot starts at 7:30. Sunday is the Spring Match and I'm running stats, selling food and hawking t-shirts to raise money for the Junior Program. But the nice thing is that even though I'll be "working" the match, the range is up in the mountains, about an hour from home (why I have to get up so early), and it is just beautiful there. I figure, too, that there's no better what to pay homage to Veterans than to exercize one of my Constitutional Rights that they fought for me to have.

Yup, Monday the shoe store is closed, and hub is closing the bakery too...BUT there's a ton of housecleaning to be done, and he wants to go check out his mum's house, we haven't been up there in a month or so, ugh.

Yeah I'm gad that Betsy Ross made it illegal to stop people from knitting!
Just kidding, I don't understand it but since you like it I hope you enjoy your weekend. (just make sure your goggles aren't cloudy)

The hubby and I are off from Saturday-Tuesday and we're going hiking up at Sequoia National Park. Never seen the big trees before! Hope it's not too hot.

Well in theory I got Monday and Tuesday off so it should be a lovely long weekend.

That's the theory - before you think how nice that would be at the moment it looks like I will either be going into work Saturday or Sunday and the rest of the weekend and Bank Holiday I'll be working

No holidays off for me but next weekend it is Queens birthday weekend and I am spending the four days down in Christchurch for The World Cat Congress and The National Cat Show! It is going to be heaven!

Don't worry Susan you're as "not British" as me. We don't get an extra day because it's the Queen's Birthday they just give us 8 extra "bank" holidays per year. Nice bosses
well they would be if I didn't have so much work to do

Maybe we should start a petition to get an extra day off for Her Maj's birthday?
