I am glad to say that Meeko is sitting on my lap as I type this. He is no longer staying in one spot. He has been walking around the house a bit, looking for new places to retreat. And his hind legs have healed enough to jump on chairs and up on my bed. He still won't eat or drink, but I don't expect him to till later tonight or tomorrow. His tail is stll kept down in a crooked, zig-zaggy kind of way. I think some scratches ran down his tail. He still is scared of little sounds. We had to take off his collar (it has a bell) because the bell kept scaring him.
I'm suer if he could talk he would say "Thank you for all of your support!
"

We just gave him his pill for the night. We offered him some milk after, but he just sniffed it and turned away. Then I brought out some canned salmon, he sniffed it and licked his lips, but again, he turned away. So I put them both back into the fridge, and he whined at me. So I brought the milk back out and he drank a bit. He still won't eat, or drink water, but I'm glad he drank something to wash the pill down.
His tail is starting to wag very slightly when he lays down. And when he walks his tail lifts up a bit at the bas, but sags down at the end. At least his tail isn't down between his legs again when he walks. That is how it was the day we took him to the vet. He's getting alot better, and that sure makes me happy!

We just gave him his last pill yesterday. He didn't have his 2nd last one, he kept spitting it out no matter how hard we tried, but we got the last on in. We usually give him a treat after he takes his pill, and when he didn't take his second last one he raced over to fridge, waiting for something, but I didn't give him anything. I think he learned from that.
Everything is back to normal. He's just as active, and he snuck outside yesterday for the 5th time so I didn't feel like chasing him. I was doing yard work that day, and for the 4 hours he was out I watched him and he never left the yard. I think he's learned something from this experience. Thank you for all of your help!
