This has certainly been a vey bad week. You all know about Milo, so I won't go into that again.

My sister had a colonoscopy done Tuesday, she's had trouble for years with IBS/IBD. This time they found a flat polyp that had to be removed, that's a cancerous polyp and they are doing a biospy on it and she will know the results next week. Plus she's been in very bad pain and he doctor says her intestines look otherwise good and that should not be giving her so much pain.
She has to go back in a few more weeks for further testing.

My 14 year old niece is on her way to the ER right now with bad pain in her lower right abdommin. Which makes me worry she may have appendicitis.

Roo and Crystal were suppose to have a vet appointment this morning but now i have to change it again, hopefully they will have a spot available tomorrow.

When it rains, it pours I guess!!

You usually feel like everything is against you when more than one thing goes wrong

I hope your sister has some good news Diane, and don't worry if it is your nieces appendix, i had mine out when i was 16

And poor Roo and Crystal

They say things come in 3's so there you go, you've had yours!.

Oh, Diane, what a rough week, just far too many issues coming up at one time!
You and your family are definitely in my prayers. May God give you strength during this challenging time. You know that I am but a pm away, anytime at all!

I hope that you feel better soon! Things always seem to happen at once but I am sure you can be strong!

I had my appendix out at 14 - if it is your neice's appendix, better for her to have it out now than when she is older

Bad news really is like quicksand... I know it's easier said than done, just try to keep a positive outlook and it'll all work itself out in the end.

Thanks for the thoughts and vibes everyone!

My sister called from the hospital and they are doing a cat scan on my niece. I'll let you know what they find out.

The cat scan results came back and my sister just called and said they found my niece has an ovarian cyst
She'll have to go a gynocologist. I'll post more when I find out all of the details.

Thanks again everyone!

The thing is she's only 14, that's the last thing I would have expected. Poor girl was in so much pain, they gave her pain med in an IV. It's 4.5 cememters, hope it doesn't get any bigger. Poor kid!

Aw, your poor neice! I had a friend in high school who actually started getting ovarian cysts at the age of 13! I know from her that those are absolutely no fun, and I sincerely hope it gets taken care of as quickly and painlessly as possible. Lots of vibes for her!!

Also plenty of vibes for your sister! I also know how scary that can be as colon cancer runs in my family.

You're such a strong woman Diane, dealing with all of this, and I know that your family feels and appreciates your strength.
Try to keep it in the back of your mind that things WILL calm down eventually!

Thanks Katherine and Chris.

My niece has an appointment on June 8. I just wish it were sooner. She still has pain, I wish I could make her pain just go away!
