I got a baby kitten last November, about 7 months ago. I have two, 2-year-old cats and when i first got the baby, she was wild and chased them all over being a little toddler. She just wanted to play with them but they would hiss at her for bugging them. Now one of my cats gets along with her pretty good, but the other hates her. She was my baby before the new cat, and is really jealous. We have had her for such a long time and she still wont give in. She would be mean to her and then suddenly when no one was looking, she would play with her. It was weird. We just recently got the baby fixed and she was gone from the house for a day. When she came back, my cat freaked out at her, the other cat, and me and was just totally depressed. She will hiss and i will tell her no and get her in trouble. She will cry and being depressed and go be by herself. I have tried everything, i just dont know what to do. I know that they could get along somehow. She just needs to stop being jealous and realize that i still love her. I dont know what to do. Help!

Maybe you could try to get the two cats to interact and then reward your older cat? When I first got my baby (Finnegan), my older cat (Oliver) wasn't thrilled with him at all. I tried to show Oliver that just because Finnegan got attention it didn't mean that he couldn't have any either. I'd pet Finnegan and call Oliver over. Whenever Oliver came over or tried to interact with me while I interacted with the little one, I'd give him extra attention and reward him. I don't know if that's why they get along now. But it started making it easier for Oliver to get close to Finnegan. Maybe you could try making an extra effort to pay attention to both of them at once?
