While at the petstore this morning, I picked up a few bags of Smarty Kat's Shrimp Nip. The boys seem to love it, but I was wondering how often I can give it to them? Can too much shrimp be bad for them?

Guaranteed Analysis:
Crude Protien - 54% min.
Crude Fat - 3% min.
Crude Fiber - 1% max

They all have a healthy weight (according to their body frame). Besides their weight, Sebastian had a UTI a few years back and Kionu has herpes.

Well I'm not a vet or vet tech, and not really an expert...but plain freeze-dried shrimp, fwiw as an aside, are an excellent high protein treat for cats with diabetes, and I use plain freeze-dried shrimp as an appetite stimulant.
While I'm not personally a fan of using catnip as part of an edible treat, I see nothing wrong with this(thumbs up that it is certified organic catnip).

A bit here and there should be just fine, imo
