I absolutley hate leaving the boys at the vet! Anytime one has had to go under I cry like a baby! The vet probably thinks I'm psychicotic but oh well! Its scary! Good luck, I'm sure she'll be fine!

Can't you pick the food up and put it away? I have four but if one cant eat they all cant eat! Its only a couple hours.Or can you put her in a room by herself?

Cant put all the food away sadly. we have kittens..and a nurseing momma. and one boy who is still stressed from his surgery so we are making sure he has enough to eat...

We try to keep her in a room all on her own..but Dutchy is an ESCAPE QUEEN. shortly I will be laying down with her to pet her and give her some love

It is like keeping a crying baby in a car seat while driving. She doesn't understand, but this is for HER health. She will survive, and will forget all about it soon. If you turn off the lights will she lay down and go to sleep? Or is there a spare friendly cat to put in with her?

Best of luck! It is very hard to hear someone you love saying "Meowmie, help!" But you are doing the right thing for her. Stay strong!!!

But Loki hes her Hubby and a sweety thanks
I am gonna put him in and see if that helps..lights off didnt.

Under the cats, mostly.
Sweetie - I know it's hard - but you've got to look at it as being cruel to be kind. In the long term, putting them through a little while of feeling a bit hungry and put out, is nothing compared to some of the grief that Dutchy and you could go through if she's not done. This is really the best thing you can do for her now
She'll be a bit crabby with you, but it's not something they don't get over
Chin up and it'll be ok

Thanks. Oh yes she will be horrible to me when she gets home. Right now she is still playing on my "meoowwwmieee" buttons. I put Loki in with her last night, and they did sleep together nicely. Loki cried once or twice about being locked up. Hes out now, and getting ready to see dutchy off....oh I am just so worried...my poor baby. I have special treats for her, when she gets home and can have them. and a new kittie toy.

Yeah that's always tough
My little rocket-man had to be done twice (as if once wasn't bad enough) but he was a crabby little ratbag when he got home. Two hours later, he was more affectionate than he'd ever been in his life!! I think he was just making up for trying to rip my face off....
I'm sure the treats will grease a few wheels though - they do so love to be spoiled, don't they?!
