I want some Sour Cream and Cheese Enchiladas but I don't have the stuff to make them
And the 3 minute drive to the supermarket is just too far away right now

What would you have if you could have anything?

Much as I love the savouries, they're not calling to me just now. But I could really enjoy some ice cream. Almost any flavour, but preferably either some really nice chocolate or Mango from Mario's Gelato. Hmmmmmmmmm...

I could go for some crab legs and mashed potatoes and cheese rolls from Red Lobster!!! I'm starving though, so I'd be happy with anything!

Having lost 25% of my onetime weight and am now at a lean-n-mean 155 pounds (you do the math) I am constantly hungry, but otherwise feel better and can do more work than I could when I was 50, which was over 20 years ago, (but I am SO not going there) so maybe once a month when my weight will allow, my bride blesses me with my favorite, pan-fried potatoes with sausauge gravy poured over the potatoes and hot biscuits.

Free advice: Do NOT get between me and the plate ! !

Other things I do to keep the weight off are 1/2 hour on the exercycle, (upper body and legs also) before each meal, NO EXCEPTIONS ! !

Eat a large breakfast of protein-rich stuff for 2 days and then one day of carb rich stuff, a moderate size lunch and for supper, a humoungous salad with fat-free dressing cut 33% with water.

Snacks are grapes when the munchies hit, and I consume likely 1 1/2 to 2 pounds daily, or lots of cantalope and watermelon in season, but the main thing is consistency -- I do not lie to myself, or come up with excuses for not doing the exercise or anything like that -- my wife says I am a slave driver to my own self, but that is the only way the program is going to work, and it is up to me to make it work, and it has worked for 3 years now, so I guess I have it under control.

I'm out of here and heading to the watermelon.

Leonard.

Sparkleball ranch
Crabs-good Maryland steamed crabs with Old Bay seasoning and hush puppies, or real crabcakes (lots of crab, Old Bay and just a bit of bread for binding). Or sushi-tuna, salmon and spicy tuna.
