My new owners will arrive in about a month, and I was hoping for any suggestions or tips you guys may have on how to make this transistion as easy as possible. I'm going to get the obvious things like litters trays, food bowls, toys, a cat tree etc but is there anything else I should do? Any tips of how to kitten-proof my home beforehand?
