I am Quitting My Job Today~~!!!

So many people know from my thread during the winter how miserable I am here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My week in Utah in April was a godsend. It allowed me to disengage and see things more objectively, become closer to the Spirit and start to make some serious changes. So at 11:30 today I am giving 3 weeks notice. Why 3? Because how you leave a job is just as important as how you enter it....and I don't want to burn bridges. But I just can't do this anymore and be here with 3 hrs commute each day to top it off. So wish me luck. I hope they don't say "Well, leave now then!" but if they do, so be it.
I have two offers hopefully coming through today, and I know it's risky to leave without anything firm, but I have such strong faith I can only pray it will be ok. But it's time! I have been here 4 years! Wish me luck!!!

It won't be my last day if I don't have to speak with my manager anymore today. You don't want to know the story. Part of it stems from the fact that I cannot keep my big mouth shut and my opinions to myself.

I admire you, Elizabeth. I could never have stayed 4 years in a job I hated. I just know that something much better will come your way and that you will be so much happier! You are in my thoughts and prayers. Keep us posted on how everything goes.

Eddie, you've definitely got guts! Good for you for taking the situation by the horns. (I was in a similar situation, hated my job for 3 years, but never got the gumption up to quit...so the leaving was on less than good terms ) I admire you for doing this. Another position will open up when you need it, and when it's the right one.

What a coincidence... my mom quit her job today, too!
