They are beautiful but from a distance
My Mom has a flock of them living in the dugout every summer and they swoop at the car/trucks when we drive by

Hee heee.... Haww hawww... HAWWWWWW ... Ummm, sorry.

(Tomorrow I will be chased by geese)

I just love it when I see the babies - at work I usually see 2-4 adult geese "babysitting" about 20-25 babies - while the other adults are eating in peace and quite.

OMG. I can just see you.
I tried feeding Canadian geese once and they got so agressive I ran for my life. It was pretty funny. But I am sure for a split second you were just stunned.

Of course that was not funny! I SWEAR I am not ROTFLMAO!!!!
Geese can be nasty creatures! My mom kept 2 as pets, but they hated everyone else. Every time I tried to go into the backyard, they would chase and bite me. The female was especially mean. I was so glad when dad finally made her donate them to a local park. They lived happily there for years.

Presumably by now you are home, safe and sound? Any more encounters with your goose friends?

Yes, we know all too well how aggressive those beasts can be -- especially when there are younguns in the picture. Their plumage is attractive, but not their personality!

That must have been some sight!

It reminds me of the time a couple of years ago that we watched Red Cat trying to sneak up on a Canada Goose in our back yard. We laughed our heads off. Needless to say, he changed his mind and came tearing back to the house before he got too close. Guess he finally realized that bird was just a little too big for him!

LOL!

Sorry, my cartoon imagination just got the best of me in that one. Funny story. Did you ask around to see if it was 'accidently' gotten on tape?

I had my purse all ready to swing at them on my way in this morning, but they were all down by the pond, so no running and screaming into the building this morning!
