My cat, Simmy has been licking and biting at his butt as it seems to itch him something fierce. We've even developed this system which my fiance and I call, "I scratch, you lick." I scratch his butt for him and he licks and gently bites my arm.
His hair is thinning in that area. I don't see anything on his butt. I asked a friend and she said it could be hot spots. What is that?
