My cat is VERY picky about her water, I was wondering if anybody has the Catit drinking fountain and if they like it or don'ot like it and how often the filters needed to be changed, things like that
THank you!

I love my Catit fountain, and so do my two cats. It's easy to clean and maintain and isn't terribly expensive. They drink a heck of a lot more water now than they did when I just gave them tap water in a bowl.

There's a thread about the different water fountains that might be helpful to you:

I have the fountain that looks like an inverted bowl with water running over it. I've noticed way more pee in the litter box from both cats since I got it, so it must be working! I really like that the water doesn't get full of dust after a day. Pretty handy little device!

I love it & my cats love it too! We have a Drinkwell & a Catit fountain & the cats prefer the catit... they use it much more.

I change the filter about once a month, but I do rinse it out at least weekly when I give the fountain a good cleaning.
I like that the water is filtered before it reaches the pump, which prevents fur from getting to the pump... not after like the Drinkwell.

I ordered mine here... at PetFoodDirect , they had the best price that I could find at the time, plus I used a coupon.

I did find a few coupons... I'm not sure if this one is still good :25% off (ORDSC127)..... 15% off (PET3215) exp.05/25.... 12% off (PER35) exp. 05/31.

This is the best thing. I love this fountain and so do all four of my cats. They drink so much more water than they used to because the fountain keeps the water cold and they like the movement. Worth every penny!!

I just bought one of these over the weekend.  I love that it can come apart so I can clean it and get all the slime and calification off, and it runs fairly quietly, so on those levels I like it a lot.

Unfortunately, the filer isn't very well hidden, and my cat is an obsessive psycho and decided to tear apart the fountain to get to the filter (I call it "reverse-engineering" because making his destructiveness sound cute eases the frustration in me).

Even when I dried it and packed it back into its box, he somehow got to it again and scattered the pieces everywhere looking for the filter.

So my advice is: if your cat is very, VERY curious and will not stop until he gets to chew on something that looks good to chew on (like filters) don't get one of these.  Get the bowl/dome ones instead.
