Need Advice

Hi all i have two female cats at home one has just given birth to three beautiful kittens and the other is pregnant due to give birth at anytimenow, what i would like to know is it perfectly normal for the pregnant cat to growl and hiss at my other cat who has just given birth. My cats are sisters. Please HELPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP

I'd bet it's those mommy instincts kicking in...protecting her little ones.
