It is really hot. It's like 12:05a in the morning and I'm so hot. I don't have A/C, so I'm suffering in this heat. They say Satuday it's supposed to get in the triple digits as far as temp is concerned.

Yeah, I live in East L.A. and my ac's broken. I'm sweating too much to sleep, but my cats won't even move unless I kick 'em.

Yuk!! It's a bit early in the year for that kind of heat...isn't it?
We don't have AC in most of our house either so I'm dreading the summer!

Heat, what is that? It's late May and we have been lucky IF the temperature hits 70. It's been a cool spring here after a loooong cold winter.

It's hot here too in San Diego. Fortunately we moved into a new apartment in February that has A/C. Our last place didn't. I have a feeling I'll be cranking the A/C on today for the first time! Last night was unbearable!

Wow, I had no idea. We just got past some heavy rain in SF area. What brought this on do they know? Is it a leftover storm or something?

That's weird! When I talked to Mom (near Sacramento) on Mom's Day, she said they were still getting rain.
I remember it getting so hot out there that in one lane of the freeway one of the concrete slabs lifted up about 6 inches or so.
And then there was that weird "reverse hurricane" thing going on..also very early in the season.
We may be in for a very strange year. I hope not.

It is AWFUL here. This entire May, every single weekend has been downpour and cold, not to mention all day every day M-F. I have had mild bronchitis all week. I feel like a piece of mold.

It's been hot down here in Miami since December. My AC is on 24 hours a day, if I have it off Gordo will get mad me.

Eddie, I hope you feel better.

Movin' on up!
According to my computer, it was still 104 at 7:30 p.m. We were supposed to hit 109 today. I napped through the 5 o'clock news and I'm not sure WHAT the high was.

The bay area is a lot cooler than it is in the Los Angeles area, and I think they have a lot more rain than we do, although this past winter, we might as well have been in San Francisco, than LA with all the rain we had. I love the hot weather when it's at night and we have nice warm nights, but I don't like it during the day.

Usually, we don't get these 100 degree plus temps until July, so heat like this is unusual at this time of the year.
