Safe and sound

Her name hasn't been officially decided. It's a draw between Loki, Layla, and Lilly. She's a bit rough looking but she's a doll, and I think she honestly believes she is home and safe forever. She's been with us for 10 hours and it's true love all the way.






The deal with her in the pot... We use that for boiling water to make tea. I was feeding her on the counter and when she got done, she just hopped in the pot and started washing away.


Also thought I would post a picture of the laziness that is Sylvestor.

She looks like a Layla to me! And it also looks like she has found her favorite place to wash! Where did you get her and how old is she? More pictures, please!

Layla, now officially decided, was a... well I guess you could call her a rescue? I've been looking for a Himalayan for my mom, and came across a shelter about 2 hours southwest of me, and I found her. She's a Maine Coon-tabby mix, or so that is what I have been told. They told me she was 2 months, but she's no bigger than a CD case, so we approximate her age to be about 4-5 weeks tops. She was a "last chance" pet at this shelter and if noone had her by Monday, she was going to be put to sleep I couldn't let it happen. I saw her and my heart just dropped, and I told my brother, and he said "It's on, I'm on it".

I will post more pictures as soon as I can. All she really does at the moment is eat,sleep, and poop,lol. All the other cats are snubbing her, but my dog loves her. She won't quit bathing her, so she's constantly being covered in doggy drool.

Then, she managed to start crawling around me like a jungle gym, and ended up back there? I took a pic somehow just so I could see what she was doing

To me she doesn't suit any of those names, she looks like a Heidi or a Hedwig to me! She sure is cute!
