I have a 1yr 3 month old cat and her three month old kitten. The cat has just been spayed and I am planning on keeping her on kitten food until she heals.

Trouble is not too sure what to feed her after that. I like to be able to free feed my cats dry and give them a little wet in the mornings and evening. the female (the cat) tends to get a bit thin if theres not food left out for her always. she's not very food orientated, if she's busy playing she'll forget to eat.

Her son on the other hand eats like a piglet. he will eat and eat but as he is still growing i am not really worried.

What dry food can i get if there is any, that will suit both?

What wet should i feed eat cat/kitten?

There are dry foods that say "for all life-stages", while not preferable, imo, for a kitten this young, I think if that is what you free feed, but also feed your kitten a good quality formulated for kittens canned food for the next 6 months, would be good.

I am not as up on what brands you have available, Nutro Natural Choice is a good brand, as is Natural Balance, PetGuard is another.

If I can find a british based online store, I'll take a look at foods available and pop another note into this thread.
