I found a small cat a few weeks ago. I took her in and after no one claimed her, decided to keep her. She's a very sweet and petite little thing. But, right away I noticed that she has large nipples. They're pink and I've heard that's a sign but they're sort of light pink. But they're huge, very long. She's gotten bigger but I don't know if that's just from the fact that she didn't have a constant food source and now she does or if it's because she's pregnant. Is there some other way I can tell if she's pregnant without taking her to the vet? I appreciate any and all responses. Thanks

Phoenissa

PS. Little Buffy thanks you!

It sounds like she's probably pregnant. Yes, when the nipples are pink and enlarged, it's a sure sign. They usually start to get pink and get bigger at about 3 to 4 weeks after conception. If she is gaining weight and getting larger then I would take her to the vet and have them take a feel. Do you know how old she is?

my Jasmine's mother wasn't 'vetted' when she became pregnant and suffered some ill effects which she passed ont he her kittens....
