Oh geez, yes! When I was 7 I told my mom that I had no idea how the towel rack got completely bent in the middle. (I tried to hang on it like a monkey-bar.) She totally nailed me, asked a bunch of questions, and eventually I 'fessed up.

As an adult, not so much. Mostly because I try to be truthful so there's no lie to be caught in.

Sure have! Nothing terribly serious though, just little white lies trying to spare people's feelings. I guess I wear my true thoughts all over my face though!

I don't remember such a situation, but I'm quite prepared to believe that's just repressed memory
There must have been a time, at least when I was a kid -- but that was back in the Dark Ages, so who remembers?

I try not to lie, but when I was a teenager, I told my mom that my boyfriend's parents were home when they're weren't. I got caught and grounded for a month.
