A silly question.

I'm not sure if this goes here but I have a question about cats and music. While watching my cat (Skat Kat) tonight I noticed he behaves slightly diffrently with diffrent kinds of music. For instance, when listening to TOOL he lays closer to the source and sleeps. When somthing like Joan Osbourne is on he seems vexed and moves away... Celtic music seems to calm him. And then I thought...

"Do cats care about music? And if so do they have musical preferances...? Could they even get a song stuck in their head?

*grin* I would have to say yes. My boy Tonka likes anything by Disturbed - he stretches up and just goes to town on his scratching post when that CD is on - and my girl Lexus seems to vibe to Kasabian. She even seems to almost dance a bit to "Club Foot". They both despise Country music although I like it and make them listen to it frequently. Tonka gets to yawning while it is playing and Lex will just put her ears back on her head and howl along with it. *ROFL*

LOL Skat seems to prefer heavy things, Tool , KoRn, Green Day, Coal Chamber, AFI...anything heavy. He likes Celtic okay I think but he prefers it at night time. I dont listen to country ever so if he heard it's he'd probably die... LOL or be liberated... who knows.

I think it would be Hilarious though to imagine him hearing TOOL in his head while chasing birds.
