Network Issues - Level(3)

It seems that a major bandwidth provder (Level3) has had an issue with a backbone router. This may cause latency and packet loss for some visitors to the TCS website until this is resolved.

The Planet (the datacenter where the TCS server is located) has apx. 20 Gig-E lines or "internet connections" (though they are each about 800 times faster than your normal cable or dsl connection). One of these providers called Level 3 experienced some issues with their connections to The Planet datacenter. Since some TCS users connect from their internet connection to the server via this provider, they of course had some problems.

Anyways, the situation was cleared up a few days ago, so everything should be fine now.
