Broken Pelvis

My cat has recently broken his pelvis. This may have been caused by a car. He can do a wee but does this mean that he will be ok? I have heard that over time, his bones can heal themselves anyway which is much better than paying thousands for an operation.

My sister's cat got hit by a car a long time ago. He couldn't walk obviously but he made a full recovery. The vet said they can't really do anything for a broken pelvis. It just healed over time. Your cat should be ok although I don't remember how long it took.
