Outside my house, I found some kittens about a week ago. Three of them were walking around and playing. There was a smaller one who was still crawling. I was worried about him because it could be the runt. I took him to the vet and all the tests came back normal. I have been taking care of him and feeding him. He eats great and goes to the bathroom normally. He bobbs his head around a bit. Not a lot and it's not like he's having spasms, but I was just wondering if this was normal. He seems to be about three weeks. He can walk on all four legs, but he stumbles a bit. I've never owned a cat so I was worried about his head bobbling. Does he just need to get stronger?

I've noticed with my foster kittens that one of them stumbled and wobbled more than others but there was nothing wrong with him. Now he's bigger and steadier.

I really don't know though, maybe someone else has some thoughts.

One of my foster kittens tends to stumble a bit....but I figure she is getting used to her new freedom.

It depends on the age of the kitten. They are unsteady and wobbly on their feet as they grow into their bodies- and older kitten there might be concern that an illness or virus is working somewhere.

thank you for answering about the stumbling. He's pretty tiny and I think he's doing better every day.

Should I be worried that the little kitten (maybe three weeks) is bobbing his head around? He's in a new house and it just looks like he's not strong enough yet, but I was just wondering if this is normal.
