Morning all and a big MEOW to all your fur children form my house!
It is crisp this morning, but as long as I am the first one up, have opened a couple of windows to 'air the stink out' as my mom would have said
I will close them before taking off for the morning.

Am going into the office to do some extra paperwork today. My referrals are way up and I have been doing nothing but seeing people for the past 4 weeks, so now it is time to do their papers up! That is the least favorite part of my job!

Bubbles lost a kitty last night and could use our comfort. Her post is entitled, I might be getting a kitty! It is in the lounge.

Debby will have a lot of reading to catch up on tomorrow when her computer is back on line! haha

Anne is on the boards,so she is OK from those bombings last night. That is wonderful news.

Well, off to feed the critters and then into work. Have wonderful Sunday!
Deb.

So much work! So little time!

Recent events in Israel are not helping my (failing) concentration and I have a lot to do on the site! I updated the cat headlines but I need to publish a new book review for this month and work on the cat pages. I also have about 40 requests for link exchanges I need to handle! And I am lecturing again this week, this time about cats and babies, so I need to get ready.

I am very tempted to spend more time on the forums, but time seems to be too short for me these days... I don't sleep well at nights, running to the bathroom 4-5 times a night and trying to find a comfortable sleeping position... so I just crash into bed in the middle of the day for a well needed nap. I often sleep for 2-3 hours in the middle of the day

We finished our pre-natal class. It was a 4 meetings course and we had the last one on Friday. Guess what? I even found another kitten at the hospital where the class was being held
He was a frightened little creature that the people working there where trying to shoo out of the building. The kitten was in panic, running from corner to corner, so we had to come to the rescue. We made them stop and managed to catch the kitten bare handed. Hubby did a wonderful job catching the little thing which was trying its best to fight back
We both got our hands full of scratches and bites (some of which became infected). Luckily, as I now lecture at the cat society shelter they were flexible and allowed me to bring in the kitten (with Gezer diagnosed with FIP, I don't want to be bringing in new kittens).

Enough from me! Where is everyone else? Hope you all have a great day! Debra, paperwork is not something I like doing either, but I guess sometimes you just need to take a deep breath and get it over with
! Have fun!

Oh, how I envy you morning people! I slept until noon, but only because I was up until 4 a.m. Insomnia bites.

I want to put up the Christmas lights today, but I'm having a hard time finding hooks. We live in an apartment, and all I can find are plastic clips for shingles and gutters. I don't have any shingles or gutters, I have a porch with wood trim so I need to nail something in. I suppose I could just use regular nails at an angle, but I like the hook things better. A small aggravation.

My 5-year-old is listening to a Back Street Boys cd on her headphones. A year ago it was Barney. Should I be worried? She seems to be such a teenager already . . .

Anne, is there any part of what you do that you could delegate? For example, I bet any one of us could write a book review or two. I know it's not a big thing, but every little bit helps. Maybe someone else could take over updating the cat stories, etc. Because as tired as you are now, the first 6 months or so of a new baby are pretty tiring too. My daughter was an easy baby, but it was still demanding to adjust to her, and I slept a lot because my body was recovering. So don't wait until you are overwhelmed and frantic to ask for our help!
