I put "other" although I guess it's technically Coke. Diet Vanilla Coke to be precise
. Which is really kind of odd, back when I was a teenager and a young 20-something I drank ONLY Pepsi and wouldn't hardly touch Coke. Then when the aspartame came in and diet drinks actually tasted pretty decent I started drinking Diet Coke because the Diet Pepsi tasted like swampwater (still does, even with sucralose in it.) I lost 50#
, got used to the taste of diet drinks and now the Pepsi, especially "real" Pepsi, is just too sweet.

Coke will eat through metal if you leave it there long enough. So I decided that it couldnt be good for my kidneys, so I gave it up.. I really dont miss it... except for when they introduce all this lemon coke lime coke, cherry vanilla dr. pepper, etc. But it makes me feel good that I have made the healthier choice.
actually i saw on tv they had made a test, and its not true that it eats through metal. or meat.. it actually cooks the meat....

I thought I heard somewhere that it ate through metal if it sat there long enough. guess not. Thanks for letting me know! cooks meat though, isnt that interesting....
I wonder if that would count on those raw diets people are on.

I chose Coke. I don't drink soft drinks though...I've never really drank them. I'd rather have water, milk, or juice.

Colas make my tummy hurt.

I don't drink soft drinks much. On the whole they're too sweet, and artificially sweetened anything has a yucky aftertaste. If I have a pop, it'll be gingerale or tonic water, or if available one of the Italian ones that have a much lower sugar content and a noticeable amount of real fruit juice in them. I really like Limonata and Chinoto a lot, and usually have some in the house. Sorry Rigel -- though, if it's any consolation, my preference of cola drinks, if I'm in need of a caffeine and sugar fix, is Coke.

Vanilla coke is my weakness, so I just can't buy it, period. Otherwise I prefer coke out of the bottle or can and Pepsi when I'm at a restaurant. I like both equally, but I can't stand Pepsi in a can or bottle. I just love it when it comes out of a machine. I'm trying to ween myself off of colas and thus far it's working. I've lost five pounds this month and I think it's because I don't drink soda. I do looooooooove good draft rootbeer. There's a brewery in my hometown that makes their own rootbeer and it's amazing.
