just don't go with diet...people make this mistake alot, and aspartame (artificial sweetener in all diet sodas) actucally leads to weight gain, and other very serious health problems

Actually, I don't like the taste of diet sodas at all. So now I'm drinking mostly water. Sometimes tea and juice.

Root Beer! But if faced with only Coke or Pepsi, I choose Coke.

I have learned to drink a lot a soft drinks when I am thirsty. But will not touch Tab or Fresca!

I dont drink fizzy drinks eveyday anymore.

I lost weight by drinking two glasses of ice tea a day and two mugs of hot tea and the rest water.

I just drank 4 liters of juice in 4 days..

I gave up coke (down south every carbonated beverage is coke, none of that soda or pop stuff) for lent a couple of years ago and never went back. I drink herbal or green teas water, milk, and juice- mostly oj.

A few semesters ago in biology lab I learned that a can of coke takes 30 glasses of water to negate the acid. 30!! Plus you use coke to eat off the green stuff from your car battery. Coke will eat through metal if you leave it there long enough. So I decided that it couldnt be good for my kidneys, so I gave it up.. I really dont miss it... except for when they introduce all this lemon coke lime coke, cherry vanilla dr. pepper, etc. But it makes me feel good that I have made the healthier choice.

I dont drink them much at all - maybe when I go to the cinema.

Pepsi or Coke - it doesnt really matter, although I think I have a slight leaning towards Coke. Its probably just marketing.

In sweden *must*(a type of flavoured soda), is a much more popular drink around the festive times of year. Its always funny to watch the coke advertisments at christmas as they try to get swedes to buy coke instead - it never works, everyone still buys julmust.
Its kind of like trying to get Americans to buy fermented fish instead of turkey for thanksgiving!!

I dont like the full sugar soda drinks because they make my teeth feel yukky, although carbonated iced tea is lovely.

If I'm going to drink something other than coffee/tea/water, then cold dark grape juice, blood grapefruit juice or blackcurrant juice are my favourites!

I've switched from Diet Coke to Diet Pepsi and prefer the taste a lot better

Ooops sorry as well Rigel!
I have to say sorry to a guy at works girlfriend as well because she's one of Coca Colas sales reps

I have to have diet because the ordinary coke leaves an after taste

Diet coke, especially the lemon or lime-flavored varieties. For some reason Diet Pepsi tastes "metallic" to me.

Diet Coke. I'd love to give up pop all together but I've come to the conclusion I'm addicted the caffiene and probably the sweetner in Diet Coke so it's one step at a time.

when i drink soda, which is rarely, i tend to choose Dr Pepper, root beer or cream soda, never a cola.
