Tonight I had to say no to an invitation to a baby shower for someone I do not like. I have my reasons...

Serious or not, what have you in your heart said no to? Have you done it anyway? Yes or No?

I said no to my neighbours on sunday evening to go and have a glass of wine with them.

The reason being i won't drink when i have work the next day even if it's only one glass!.

I said "No!" really loudly to Guinness this morning. He had decided to wrap himself around my legs and managed to pull a thread out of my new work trousers

I say "no" to stuff all the time that I don't want to do and don't think twice about it! I hope you are not feeling guilty about saying "no" Ashley.

I haven't had to say no to anything like that lately. Oh wait... I've said no to my old career calling me back.

I had to say no to something pretty big recently
My sister has some conferences and summer schooling in Canada this summer. My parents and sister asked me if I would like to go - as kind of a family holiday (as we'd get some free time to explore)

Sadly, I had to say no because of my stupid knee
I have no idea how well i'll be doing and only had a day or two to decide. They will be doing a lot of walking (or i'd be sitting in on some PhD conferences) so I didn't want to put myself back in my progress or end up more confused than I am on a daily basis!

To be honest, I'm GUTTED that I had to say no (and because of my knee of all things! If only it had have been through personal choice! *sigh*) but one day i'll get to visit Canada

Sorry if that sounded like a bit of a rant, the question just touched me in the right place

It sure does suck!

Toronto, Victoria and a Vancouver - it was going to be soooooo good!

I'll just have to start saving to pay for myself to go! (yes, my parents were going to pay and everything!

I've had to say no on numerous occassions to other group exercise instructors calling to ask me if I can sub their classes. If I'm given enough heads up, or I'm in the right mood, I'll absolutely sub for them. I do it quite frequently actually. But when they call me the day of or late the night before I generally refuse. I'm sorry but I already teach 4 classes and I don't want anymore!

Thanks Chris
I'm not feeling guilty about it! I'm not sure why I was even invited and was just thinking about that. It's odd

I said no to my Dad last night. On one level I didn't feel particularly good about it, but I also felt it was necessary. I'm still processing that, so I guess that's all I'll say for now.

I said No! to Mittens last night when he climbed on the table. He didn't budge until his father gave him the "look" then I saw him run really fast...it was very funny...like seeing a 4 year old run off like he got in trouble!

I say "No" to the kitties when they get on the table or counter, or into something they shouldn't be. Piper and Chester usually listen, Ariel on the other hand doesn't. She's such a brat!
