Stupid woman!.
LOL That was what I was thinking Susan! Just because these kittens are the right age, they have to belong to her daughter and she wants the kittens and the momcat back!
If she feels that strongly about this cat, then they should have kept the female indoors until after the kittens were weaned!

Ash- Massey travels well in a container, not a carrier. I have a large rubbermaid tub that I put the kittens in- there are holes all along the sides and the lid so air can flow through. The container is deep enough the kittens can't crawl out, and they have traveled like this several times- even all the way to washington and back 600 miles! I am thinking if you get the same type of container and a snugglekitty- Massey will be perfectly happy to ride like that all the way to your home. I would bring a carrier as well so when you stop you can contain him, but make it a canvas carrier if you can, because he tends to get his head stuck in the bars of a regular carrier, which is why I use the container instead-

MA, I have this carrier http://www.petsmart.com/global/produ...=1117871984539

As for the rubbermaid container I have no idea where I can get one with holes
I am sure I can use a normal one and make holes in it, but would have to figure that out
Would lots of drill holes be enough or should I find something that can make larger holes?

Your carrier should be fine- the containers don't come with holes, we just made the holes in there-

That woman that called is a loon. Jerry would say she's a couple bottles short of a six pack!

Ashley, I can't tell you how jealous and happy for you I am to be adopting such a little love. All of the owners who gets these kittens are very lucky people. MA has done such a wonderful job. I just wish all the kittens in the world who need help could find it the way these have.

MA - Saber is soooo cute!

Ashley - how wonderful that you are driving all that way to take in what is an adorable little guy. I can see why you just had to have him. He is just adorable. He reminds me of a little George. Let's just hope he's not at crazy as George is

Oh my gosh, I missed so much since yesterday morning!!! Saber is awesome, MA!!! I'm partial to German Shepards.

I'm SO happy that the vet visit went well. I have a question, MA, did the vet give you a free visit and all, since they were the ones that gave you the kittens to foster anyway? I hope so!

Massey is so precious, and I love the picture of him showing his belly!!! I want to kiss it!!!

I can't believe that crazy woman who called you! Some people just lack a little something up top, ya know? She was a member of that group I am certain.

Thanks for all the pictures, MA! You are doing a fantastic job, as always.

This morning at breakfast, Mike announced that he is going to call "CatNappers Anonymous" and offer the following tip-

"Beware of tall woman with wire-rimmed glasses, and crazy-glazed look in her eyes. She is driving a blue Impala with a snatch net inside! She routinely cruises up and down the roads in the wee hours of the morning, wearing special glasses that only spot pregnant cats that are three weeks till due date! Approach with caution- the woman is armed with kibble and her aim is deadly- suggest safety goggles and bulletproof vests for anyone approaching her. Last time she was confronted smuggling off pregnant female cats, she was moaning and had the cat in a death grip saying "But she is MINE! I just found her!"

MA might end on the FBI's "10 most wanted list" for catnapping. TCS's very own celebrity.

MA, you are so lucky to have such a loving, caring and funny husband! You have done an incredible job with these kittens. Just knowing you have raised them so well and they are not in the hands of that "loony woman" makes me feel good all over!

Ashley, I expect to see weekly pictures of Massey once you get him home. You are so lucky!

I would have liked to have been warned though, we went out for breakfast and he chose to tell me this while my mouth had hot coffee inside- I sprayed his shirt!
