Whoo Hoo! Kitties all get a big paws up from the vet. They now weigh 13 ounces, they had worms, they have all been dewormed, their lungs are clear and Massey is not blind!
The vet was impressed with how far they have come, and I was relieved to find out they are okay. Also while I was there a woman came in who was having her senior cat put down, she was looking at the kittens (the bin was open on the floor at my feet) and she fell in love with Oliver and Matuse the last two kittens that don't have a home! She wasn't ready to take them yet, and I told her no problem, they can't leave right now anyway- so she took my business card and was going home to talk to her family about adopting the two boys!

Saber also got a great big paws up, he was a champ for the vet and all they found with him was he had worms- he has also been dewormed.

I am just so relieved that the fluid is gone from the lungs and the kittens are of good weight, bright-eyed and bushy-tailed!

What a great day you had! Congratulations! I am sure the lady who is thinking about taking Oliver and Matuse will give them a great home. How lucky she was to have been there at the same time you were! Maybe an omen?!?!?!? Glad to hear Massey isn't blind also! By the way, who is Saber? I must have missed the thread about him/her?

You've done a fantastic job..these little sweetlings will now have a long and happy life, and they will brighten the lives of those that adopt them.

How great MA, you definately were THESE kittens "fairy godmother". And now it looks like they ALL have homes too. Sending cyber hugs to you and pets to the kittens, way to go! :-)

Wow...slack off here for a couple of days, and there's plenty of "homework" to read when you get back! What great news all around, that the kits and Saber are healthy, that three of the babies have homes, and that little Massey isn't blind!

Congratulations Ashley on your new baby!

Ok this was odd and it set me off a bit!
My ad is running in the local paper, it is a very carefully worded ad (for a good reason) these babies aren't just going to anybody! So late tonight this woman calls about the kittens. She starts out by just asking me where I am located, and I tell her, and then she all but accused me of stealing these babies from her daughter! Apparently, three weeks ago, her daughter's pregnant cat vanished- so of course I must have the litter of kittens and the momcat! I got a bit put out during the conversation and asked her why a pregnant momcat was let outside to begin with- to which she had no good answer. I then told her that I did not have her daughter's kittens and that if the momcat was still alive and has had her litter, chances are good, the momcat is pregnant again (which she found hard to believe)

At any rate- Ash- here is YOUR kitten, up close and purrsonal (I was probably to close to him when I took them-

What a twerp! Even if they WERE her kittens, she wouldn't deserve them!!!

And as for little Mister Massey --
-- a sweet little mackerel -- he's gonna grow up to remind me of my RB Gryphon, and if he's only half as wonderful as that guy, Ash, you have such a winner!
