Mine went quick too
Now it's back at work - but today has gone so quickly (cos I am in the spotlight it has taken my time
hehe)

I was fairly busy this weekend. I went to my sisters to help her plant some stuff in the garden, I did the normal housework stuff, watched some TV, sorted out some clothes (again). Yesterday I re-planted my hanging baskets that are at the front of the flats. I planted 3 of them with Petunia's called "Summer Holiday". I can't wait for them to flower cos they are going to be soooo soooo pretty!

Went to a neighbours bbq for a couple of hours, then had a giggle with friends in our local pub.

Did some retail therapy on the saturday and bought 4 tops and a pair of shoes, posted a parcel to you Susie
then chilled out for the rest of the weekend!

Roll on friday!

I am anywhere else. I am off this week. Wasn't it freezing up there this weekend? I didn't get any work outside done because it was too cold.

I always wondered where "anywhere else" was! It's in Indiana!
Yes Chris, Saturday was rainy and cold and Sunday, although it was sunny the biggest part of the day, was still in the high 50's. I was determined to get outside!

For me weekends are when I have to work the most, so I'm pretty happy that the week is here!!! This weekend I worked at the visitation center both Saturday and Sunday, volunteered at Greyhound Pets on Saturday, did some chores, and made dinner for Brendan and I last night. Weekends exhaust me and now that I'm back to teaching aerobics at UCF they're only going to become MORE exhausting! So I say: YAY for weekdays!!!!!!

I finally got my front flowerbeds planted! Yay! I didn't get the grass cut yesterday like I'd wanted to as we had several little showers. Just enough to make the grass too wet to cut, hopefully I'll get that done today. Also got out to Lowe's to buy stuff to build a cat tree
, and went to PetsMart to lay in kitty supplies; food, litterboxes, toys and a new kitty fountain. We got the Drinkwell, which is a heckuva lot noiser than the Petmate was. I May end up moving it out of the bedroom.

We did yardwork as well. It was a beautiful day Saturday - overcast but warm (for us northerners) so we transferred some peonies to a different area of our property, took down the old TV aerial off the house (we have satellite now) and generally just outside clean-up/freshen-up.

Mine was awesome. Did ZERO yardwork, which was a totally welcome break considering every weekend for the past few have been slaving in my yard!

I went to a festival, ate lots of German food, drank lots of German beer, got my face painted, danced, played & just had a ball.

I was just thinking how Monday is always tough, even if you like your job the mental transition is hard! Did you know the most heart attackes occur on Monday morning? that is when my Dad had his.

I had a great weekend, Sat I went to a baseball game, and it was part of a belated birthday thing so I got picked up and driven there, everyone fed me and bought me beers, it was so sweet. Yesterday I was the domestic goddess, did my house work and some shoppping-also did my walk around this lovely reservior over here (although the weather was hot and muggy)
I got some new plants for both front and back. It was very nice.

Now back to reality, luckily my boss isn't in until 10 so I can doddle going in.

Sounds like you had lots of fun!
Sunday I went to an Anime Conference in Chicago with my 16 y/o son and two of his friends. It was very fun, and they all really enjoyed it. A lot of attendees were dressed like various characters. Here is a link of some pics, none of which are us! We were just in regular clothes:

In case you don't have a teenager, Anime is japanese cartoons, and Menga is the comic books.

Mine was great! Spent Friday evening and almost all day Saturday with my mom. Went went to see Monster-in-law and went shopping at the Galleria. Then drove to my in-laws to meet up with Zack. Caught a little allergy infection, so I am fighting that off still...slept 15 hours yesterday! Probably needed it
Would rather still be in bed than here at work!

At the kitty's beck and call
Spent Saturday with my daughter - we went on a girly day out to the city, did some shopping, had lunch, walked our feet off then caught the train back.

Sunday - I spent the day preparing lectures for my classes today
with a bit of TCS time thrown in for good measure
.

My weekend went too quickly too.

Wait, we had a weekend?? WHEN??

We're in full swing getting ready for Festival to open in YIKES!
3 weeks! Saturday morning I sewed my own garb from 9am till noon, had lunch and went to 3 rehearsals from 2-7:30PM. Then I came home and worked on some of the costumes for other people till 10, then pulled my own gown out till about midnight.

Sunday I got to sleep late and didn't start sewing till 10am, rehearsal at 1:30 to 4:30, home for dinner then rehearsal again from 7:30-9:30.

BUT, if I didn't have this madness in my life from February to July, I'd go stark raving MAD myself!
I love what I do and I work with 2 other production companies doing the same thing from August to November.
