Pining, or in heat ?

Hi There,

My cat, Dee will not shut up. All day and all night for the past 2 days she is constantly chirping and miowing and wanting to go outside. I hardly got any sleep last night because of her constant miowing.

At first I thought she was calling for her kittens. Four of them went to new homes on Friday. But now I'm wondering if she's in heat. Any Ideas ?? She had her kittens nearly 8 weeks ago.

If she is in heat, how long does it last ??

Cat heats re-occur until they are pregnant again. It might be advisable to get her fixed. I'm sure some more knowledgeable paople will be along soon to give some advice.
