What breed is my cat?

Hi there. I know she's a tabby, but I was wondering if she might have some other types as well. She's very talkative and extremely outgoing, doesn't really purr much (more like heavy breathing).

Anyway, here she is.

She isn't a breed, she is a Mackeral tabby DSH no discernable breed

Mackeral tabby? I have never heard that before. Thank you so much for the info

They call them a Mackeral tabby because if you look at the pattern on the forehead, you will see an M- some are defined, your cat has a squiggley lined M- but still a M-hence the Mackeral Tabby.

actually, i think she looks like a classic or blotched tabby - her markings on her body don't look like stripes to me, but more like swirls. Cable is either a mackeral or spotted tabby - look at her coat

She is absolutely adorable!!!!! and btw Laureen...Rocky is a dsh tabby himself..he has the stripes on his legs and tail, but it is more of a blended mixture of black and a little bit of brown on his back area..no stripes there...they are in his face too and neck aread in the front...I don't really know what pattern he is but I love the tabby pattern..I especially like the "M" on the forehead...

he sounds like a blotched/classic tabby.
