Is anyone else using it? I purchased it at Trader Joes as a tester (it has a good list of ingredients) and my sammy loves it. He eats it much more heartily than the other dries and is eating less wet food cause of that.
I think I am going to stick with it, and i confess it's convenient to buy.

First tried Bench and Field Feline Holistic Formula from Trader Joes myself. We have four cats and they love it! We now purchase it directly from the company via their web site and via phone order. It comes in 30 lb. bags and is even less per pound than you can get it at TJ. Our cats LOVE IT! We find much less dander, their coats are softer and more shiny and in general they are all more healthly. I highly recommend this food. Good luck and I am jealous that you are close to a TJ. We have moved and there is no location here so it is really good that we can order our food online. Good luck!

I really should order online to get the better deal. I am not switching, I had tried them all and he likes this best and he looks fantastic and is so energetic.

I mean I have tried all the good ones, Wellness, etc.

I just looked it up, because I've never heard of the brand (not surprising, since I'm not familiar with Trader Joe's, either). It sounds good, though I probably couldn't feed it to Jamie because of the beet pulp, though if it's in very low quantities it might be okay. Carol, could you (or others) give a "progress report" in a few weeks? One of "my" suppliers is looking for holistic/high quality cat/dog foods that aren't marketed in Europe yet, and this might fit the bill. They're searching for something to replace California Natural and Innova, because those two brands aren't exported to the EU anymore. I'll email them the website addy, but I'm sure they'd appreciate some "testimonials", too. Thanks!

Of course, I can pass any info along I know. Would the Beet Pulp be too much sugar for Jamie?

The ingredient list is good and Sammy really likes to eat it, so the wet food can be a treat now and not as major. I note his coat is so lovely and his energy good. I have used it exclusively for 2 months now and all good.

As far as I know, only uncooked/undercooked pork is dangerous.

According to my vet and actually two others I talk to ... Pork fat is indigestabele and can cause some trouble .... pork meal doesnt have full fat but I am stearing clear of all pork and pork meal... there is also a parasite in pork that cant be cookded out( so says the local health food guy )

If that were true, then none of us should be eating properly cooked pork. The only parasite I know of is trichinosis, which may be an issue with raw or undercooked pork.

My three cats LOVE this food and will barely eat anything else, for some reason. These are separately adopted, formerly starving, abandoned and neglected ranch cats who have recovered their strength and stamina. I am probably spoiling them with love and sustenance. But if Trader Joes runs out of B&F,  they won't eat, not even the other TJ cat foods. I have tried everything, homemade chicken, tuna, their favorite tastes of dog food, but they like nothing as much as the B&F dry cat food at TJ's

SO it's a great deal if you have Trader Joe's nearby, but do stock up cause sometimes it sells out.  But then again, our cats may need to lose a little weight now. After they'll eat of they get hungry, right???
