This is the before pic of the new wall Jerry built around them a few weeks ago

And this is what I did today with planting my flowers, putting mulch down etc.

A cloakroom is a little downstairs toilet room with a wash basin. I think it stems from the time when there used to be a room to store cloaks - I couldn't say whether that had a toilet in it though.

Thanks for clarifying that Beth! I thought I knew what a cloak room is, (a room to store your coats) but when you said it was one of the bathrooms in your home, I thought, Hummmmmmm, she goes potty in there??????

Susie makes a mental note "don't take a coat when I go to visit Beth"
Do you guys in the US have a name for your downstairs toilet room - apart from "the downstairs toilet" that is?

I've heard it called "half bath"... or sometimes.... real rarely "Powder Room".

Great flowers Susie!

Here in Canada we refer to the usually small 2-piece that is generally located near the front entrance a "Powder Room".

Loving my beautiful baby girl
How lovely, Susie!
Boy, you two sure have worked hard this weekend!
That's very interesting about your cloak room, Beth! Here, I have also heard it called a half bath, other wise, just the restroom/bathroom. Believe I'll go with cloak room from now on!

The bed is looking really lovely. I love the two over turned barrels with flowers spilling from them.

I just had another look at this thread again and I can see that you have planted some Geraniums
Do you know what colours they are all going to be? I see red there....

I have some in my garden - they are so pretty once they have started to grow and are really easy to care of. If you take off the dead heads regularly, the new buds will grow back even larger!

Here's a close up of my pink geraniums:
