Tuxedo isn't a real official breed or anything like that, it's just an informal name for black and white cats that look like they have a tuxedo on because the white parts are under the chin and down the chest and they have little "spats" on their feet.

Ash looks borderline between being called a tuxedo or a moo cat -- one that looks like a white cow with black patches. He's super special cute whichever you decide..

I consider my little Graycie a grey tuxedo.

I would say that he doesn't truely exhibit the coloration pattern of a Tux kitty, just too much white everywhere. He would need to have white mainly under his chin and down his chest, black everywhere else but his feet, to be a purrfect tux kittty.

Now that said....I think hes a gorgeous specimen of a domestic kitty
. I specifically like his 'beauty mark'.

'tuxedo' is a name for a black & white bicolor cat that is mostly black with white chest & feet, but most people use it even when describing cats with other white markings. it's also used to describe blue & white bicolor cats. it doesn't describe a breed, but a coat pattern. Pixel (my tux) is considered a tuxedo, but she's also got the 'skunk' pattern because she has a white stripe down her back.

Whatever he is, he's a cutie-patootie!
Oliver is very much a tux, and Emma is a sort-of-kind-of tux--she has a lot more black than he does.
You should add him to the black and white kitty thread going on right now!

either way it looks to be a great belly for rubbin, a great face for headbumpin, an all around cuddly time! What a great looking kitty!
