A Week With Aristotle

Kittens are fun. Except at 4am!

Ari has settled in and Mom and I are now recalling more about what it is like to have a kitten around.

Jasper has accepted him and Ari follows him everywhere. Unfortunately one morning Jasper ran into the bathroom and jumped on the edge of the tub. Ari followed, not realizing that he would need to stop on the edge. He fell in the tub which had about and inch of water in it. The next thing Mom knows is that she is being awakened at 4am by a wet and very vocal kitten.

It's really sweet to see him sit next to Jasper and lean against him. Jasper has also been twitching his tail every now and then.

He's discovered how to get up by the computer. Last night he commandeered the mouse pad and slept there from 9pm until about 5 am. I was up to go to the bathroom and he woke up, realized he was alone and started crying. I called to him, told him to go talk to his meowmy but he decided to come into my room and hunt "bed mice".

Now he is playing with my charoite necklace. At least he isn't sitting on the mousepad.

Correction - he's chewing on the lamp cord.

Now he's on my shoulder - no, now he's on the printer - no,

he purring in my ear.

Honest, pictures coming as soon as I get sis' digital camera!

Dear Jan, sounds like everyone is having REAL fun at your house! Course, I am trying not to be jealous since I still have almost two months to wait before I am in your "situation" . Welcome to the 4 am club! I have been a member ever since I got Jasper who is now over a year old BTW so the 4am wake up won't be a real shock to me! He sounds so darling, I can't wait to see pictures of him, and hopefully some of him and handsome Jasper T. as well . The offer of matching "thongs" is still on BTW . I have a spare measuring tape I could send..... . I look forward to hearing more "blow by blow" accounts on the "paws and reflect" front. So glad that you got him and things are working out so nicely. Have fun and give them both pets for me. Purrs and hugs

I'm itching to see him Jan because he sounds sooooooo sweet and it's lively that Jasper has taken to him as well

I borrowed my sis' camera and have been taking pics of Ari. When he stops moving - which is only when he's asleep!

He has already lost his collar - which I just bought yesterday!

LOL misty's mum! He has already earned the nickname "White Tornado". Which has me racking my brain for the cleaning product that used a white tornado in it's advertising. Anyone remember the name? It was back in the 60s and 70s.

I was thinking Ajax, too, Laureen, but I wasn't sure.

He decided to sleep with me last night. I had to teach him that there was room for only one person in my nightgown!

It was Ajax, oh good grief i'm showing my age here!, ack i was just a child when that came out!!

Awwwwww bless him, the beds not filled unless with a cat or kitten
