My CD is broken right now so I am outside listening to the wind in the trees, the birds singing, the water in the lake behind the house rippling and the neighbourhood kids playing. I guess having a broken CD player is not so bad

That's no so bad.
I HAVE to have music or TV on... in order to drown out police/ambulance sirens, the streetcars, honking horns and people yelling out on the street.

I'm home alone so I can listen to whatever I want!!! I'm listening to Maxwell, his "Embrya" cd. It's an oldie but an awesome cd!!! I like to turn it up loud when I'm chillin in the tub with a glass of wine. The whole cd is just mellow. My absolute fave is : Know These Things: Shouldn't You. Ah, his voice is so soothing...

Ha. funny..I feel the same way..though I like it when at a friends on a weekend and that song comes on.....The funny thing is I gave the friend that CD as another friend had given it to me (The funny part being that was one of the various CD's that friend found in his car after it was stolen..the punks had driven around with the stereo blasting Fiddy cent...hahaha..talk about stereotyping.)
