Looks like we have mixed reactions to olives.....I LOVE the green ones, but the black ones, ICK!!!!

That's why I was surprised to learn that they're actually the same - it's just that the black ones are riper.

I love all olives, green, black, green stuffed with anything you could imagine, big black Greek olives, all of them!

I read that in the paper a few years ago, and was curious enough to look it up. They go from green to brown to black. The brown ones don't seem too popular, though.

Thats right Tricia!. The ones i eat are slightly green at the end and yellow, but if they have a few brown spots on them thats when i don't buy any because their too soft for me


I also keep my bananas in the fridge because if you put them in the bowl with other fruit they ripen quicker

I prefer hard yellow nanas (so do my nana eating dog, one cat and the birds), if they are bruised, or black, I just use them in my protein shakes
