Hello fellow kitty lovers! I'm so glad to have stumbled across this fun site. The main reason I am here, is to find a forever home for my 6-ish month old foster kitty, "Sony" (dubbed Sony because when I first brought her home, she decided to camp out in the entertainment center, behind my Sony PS2!). Sony is a girl kitty, with shiny black (short) hair except for a few scattered white ones and a tiny white patch on her chest. I've never had a black kitty before - I didn't know they were so pretty
! Anyway, I wasn't expecting to switch apartments for another month. However! My boyfriend and I found out today that if we want the apartment that we'd hoped for, we have to move in in TWO WEEKS!
Ahhhh! So Sony needs to find her forever mom/dad ASAP, or I'm really not sure what I will do with her. The Pet Fee at this new apartment is $300, in addition to $20 a month per pet! I think the additional $20 per pet per month is a ridiculous, but who am I to say anything about that?! Anyway. Sony was verrrrry shy at first - she was born a stray, then caged up at the vet clinic where I worked for two months. The doctors wanted to put her to sleep because they figured she would never "sweeten up" enough for anyone to want to adopt. I believe there is potential in every kitten! So, I brought her home to my apartment. She and my year old kitty growled hatefully back and forth at each other for around 2 weeks, after which I guess they decided to put up with each other. Now they're buddies and love to chase each other around my apartment, snooze on my bed, and hang out in the bath tub together. Oh, and they love watching the water come out of the bathroom sink faucet together. I would love to keep Sony if I had the money, but right now I just don't. She hasn't been around doggies or kids, so I think a home for her should be kid/dog free (I do love kids and dogs though). Any help finding a home for her would be SO greatly appreciated. Until then, I will continue to check out the forums and see what this site has to offer!
