Oooo fun!!!! We have some titmouses (titmice?) building a nest in the car port. I love hearing them tweet. We had a nest in a tree outside the kitchen window but hubby accidentially bumped the tree when weedwacking and knocked the nest out of the tree and broke the egg.

YAY! Is it an American Robin? We saved an American Robin once when it was attacked by something. It would've died if we didn't find it. I'm glad we were there, and not someone who would just kill it and put it out of it's misery!
But, she was a sweety! She had a bright red chest, and she *sang* this particular tune, so we named her Cherry-Lee! She flew away one day, though.
But it was best... we always wanted to let her go, but just loved her. I guess it was God's way of saying if we loved her, we needed to let her go. So, he let her go for us. I can't wait to see pictures!!! YAY!

A titmouse looks like a tiny little finch. They stick around for the winter, so we have a couple of feeders for them. The ones where I live are either primarily blue or yellow. I'm not sure about the plural, either - I've heard them referred to as "blue tits" by Brits. http://www.naturfotografie-digital.d...eise-fotos.php

We're having a lot of fun birdwatching right now. There's a pair of magpies (possibly two gay males) here that have been trying to raise a family for 6 or 7 years now, with a total lack of success. Right now they have a baby crow they're raising, probably "stolen", and watching the three of them is a real hoot. http://www.fotonatur.de/singvoegel/e...sdauuricus.php
