It's nothing serious!, just her yearly check up and her needle but i've got butterflies already because i hate having to see the look on their faces when they go into their carrier

I brought the carrier out from my room last night and it's not as though they don't see it every day because they do, but the minute they saw me carrying it downstairs the look on their little faces was "Oh no! not that place again!"

The vet visit tonight was obviously on my mind, because i had to tell Stephanie this morning as soon as i got to work about a bad dream i had with Sophie at the vets and they found something wrong with her, because i always think if i tell someone about a bad dream then it won't come true?!

Please send Sophie some stress free vibes because she lets everyone know she's in the surgery!!

Hugs to Sophie (Rosie & Susan as well!) I am sure everything will be fine and when you bring her home within about 10 mins she will have forgotten all about it!

Loving my beautiful baby girl
I sure hope you've gotten that nasty dream out of your head, Susan!
Sophie's going to do great today! Remember, she will quickly pick up on your feelings, so don't let her know you're upset! She needs you to be brave for her and reassure her there is nothing out of the ordinary and everything is ok!

Oh dont be worried. Your vet is perfectly capable, and Sophie will love you once she is home again, although Rosie might be walking on eggshells thinking that she is next,,lol.

At the kitty's beck and call
Yes, you're so right. My daughter always used to be scared about telling me about her bad dreams when she was little, but, being a mom, of course I always wanted to know what was going on
. Well, actually I wanted to know what was worrying her. But anyhow, I'd heard that saying too and told daughter, so she always used to tell me her dreams then. None of them ever came true
.

Sophie will be fine. It's just her yearly check to keep her free from nasties. I have great confidence that she'll come back glowing with pride. Kitties ought to get a treat from the vet like the sticker kids used to get from the dentist
. Perhaps they might like Vets a little more then.

Sending her vibes anyway - but I'm confident she won't need them!!!!

My vets give the dogs treats so i can't see why not?, mind you as much as Rosie loves them she couldn't be tempted because i tried that.

Once Sophies in the examination room she rolls all over and purrs with the vet or the nurse, it's just when she's waiting in her carrier that she yells

But do any of you find yourself holding your breath and watching the vets face when their examining with the stethescope etc... because i do!

Yes...
Guin has been a few times in the year and a half that I have had him with blocked anal glands. I hate the bit when the vet is examining his tummy and pressing gently on him. I hold my breath at that bit all the time as you can never tell from the look on the vets face etc.

Your baby will be fine and dandy, you'll see.
