Hub and I got Meish a second window pearch and while she was sitting on it the other evening it fell off... and it scared the snot out of her. She still uses her other pearch with no problem but the one in the bedroom freaks her out. Its been two days and I put her up on the new pearch (resecured with screws) and she frizzed out and jumped off again. Later I put her on again and she sat there a minute while I petted her then she jumped off again. How long do you think until she will use it again or have I wasted my money lol.

It could go either way, she could forget about it and use it or she could never like it. My exboyfriend's dog had a baby gate fall by him (not on him) when he was a little puppy and he was afraid of them for at least 2 years. He wouldn't go anywhere near one.
I think you should probably just let her go at her own pace. Maybe put a little catnip on it to make it enticing, but I wouldn't force her to go on it even for a second. Hopefully she'll start going on it on her own again.
Is there anyway you can return it if she's not into it anymore?

She will sit on it now if I put her on it but other than that she won't go on it by herself. But she did the same thing with the other one in the livingroom when we first got it. She'll warm up to it eventually.
