GREAT NEWS!!!!!!!!!!
She's selling the kitten to Brendan!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SO everything has worked out perfectly. That kitten will now be in caring and protective hands and will be very well loved! We'll be coming up with a name today!!

Amy and Beth those are such cute name ideas!! We keep throwing ideas out but ultimately it's up to him! I said Kiwi earlier (don't know why, it just came out) and he said that one wasn't bad. He's not sure yet though! I also told him he should name it Bisquick (a joke, of course)!

Seriously though, that is wonderful news!!!
Basically she DID realize that Brendan would be the better caretaker of the kitty and that it WAS unfair that she and her friend just up and got one when Brendan was planning on getting one for so long. So, she sold it to him and THEN one day TOOK IT BACK because she "forgot to consult with her friend." Apparently she and her friend had gone in on buying the kitten (how horrible, right?) and the kitten was actually in her friends name (even though that friend doesn't live with them) so she had no right to sell it to Brendan without talking to the friend. You can only imagine how upset Brendan was. To have the kitty and then have it taken away again! Well, Brendan had a talk with her and let her know how upsetting this hwole thing has been for him and how it's not right for this kitten to technically be her "friends" and yet be living at their house where the friend is never there to take care of it! Cara told Brendan she would talk to the friend about it. Well, this morning there was a note on Brendan's door saying that she had worked everything out and that the kitten was his. It said, "I know that you and Katherine will make great cat parents for her and you should definitely have her." Thank goodness that is all over and settled! Brendan is so happy to have his kitten!! Everything always works out for the best in the end.

He told me last night as I was talking to him on the phone that he thinks he's going to name her Hida (I think that was what it was, I could be terribly mistaken though lol). Apparently it means 'warrior' in German.
I've already told him he should join TCS! I think he thinks it's better left to me though.
